This project has been a yr in the making and originally was to be a single cd collection of alternate live versions of songs recorded for the Doors Absolutely Live album. but got to thinking that the lp was originally a 2 record set so why not a 2 cd collection.all recordings come from the doors bright midnight label and are soundboard recordings. some songs are edited and mixed together from various shows similar to what producer Paul Rothchild did with the original album. there are no fadeouts between songs. each cd is meant to feel like a complete show. i hope you like this collection. artwork by me.
