DesktopBSD - an operating system created based on FreeBSD. The system is aimed for use as an OS for workstations. Differences from the progenitor is to use the default KDE window interface and appropriate, for workstations, a set of programs. Installing the system takes place using the graphical installer based on the BSD Installer. It is possible to run DesktopBSD with the installation disk, without installing on your computer - LiveCD. The latest version - 1.7, based on 7.2-RELEASE-p3.
