Barefoot and Shit Faced 'is the debut album by British band Elevator Suite, which allows not only the music scene of the island attention. The band consists of two DJs with a penchant for singing and dilettantism (named Andy Childs and Paul Roberts), and the versatile musician and composer Steve Grainger, who seems to dominate every instrument in the Western world. Robert and Andy have worked together for 12 years, but only when Steve joins them and it's first single "Man in a Towel" is created waves of success. And initially, rather even from afar, for all seven months takes the back and forth until it finally comes to sign the record deal.
The newcomer produce a kind of music that is difficult to assign a single direction. Even when a certain bit of Jazz-Groove can not deny the album, It's often in the funky direction. And you can see Elevator Suite live full cast, the show can ever get out of hand in a boozy Retro-Soul Revue. But the true home of the Elevator Suite is as reminiscent of the Elevator Music name suggests, in the lounge and easy listening universe - the best example of this is "Thinking of you".
