COMMANDMENT - One of Chicago's premier power metal bands from 1987 to 1989. Commandment were the winners of the Z-Rock radio demo contest in May 1987. This earned them air play rotation for a month on Z-Rock. This led to Commandment signing with Amethyst Records and released 'Engraved in Stone' in the fall of 1988. Tour followed through the midwest area, clubs included Thirsty Whale, Exit Club, Mickey's and Standing Room Only.
