Richard Paul "Rick" Astley is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and radio personality. He is known for his 1987 song, "Never Gonna Give You Up", which was a #1 hit single in 25 countries.[1] Astley holds the record for being the only male solo artist to have his first 8 singles reach the Top 10 in the UK[2] and by retirement in 1993 had sold approximately 40 million records worldwide.

Edwin Starr (January 21, 1942 – April 2, 2003) was an American soul music singer. Starr is most famous for his Norman Whitfield produced Motown singles of the 1970s, most notably the number one hit "War".

KC and the Sunshine Band is an American musical group. Founded in 1973 in Miami, Florida, their style has included funk, R&B, and disco. Their most well known songs include the disco hits "That's the Way (I Like It)", "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty", "I'm Your Boogie Man", "Keep It Comin' Love", "Get Down Tonight", "Give It Up", and "Please Don't Go". They took their name from lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey's last name ("KC") and the "Sunshine Band" from KC's home state of Florida ('The Sunshine State').

Milli Vanilli was a pop and dance project created by Frank Farian in Munich, Germany, in 1988. The group was formed with Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. The group's debut album Girl You Know It's True achieved international success and earned them a Grammy Award for Best New Artist on February 21, 1990. Milli Vanilli became one of the most popular pop acts in the late 1980s and early 1990s. However, their success turned to infamy when their Grammy was revoked after LA Times author Chuck Philips revealed that lead vocals on the record were not the voices of Morvan and Pilatus.

Glenn Alan Medeiros is an American (Hawaiian) singer and songwriter of Portuguese descent who achieved chart success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. After his musical career he taught and is now vice-principal at the Maryknoll School, a parochial school in his native Honolulu, Hawaii.

Deborah Ann "Debbie" Harry (born July 1, 1945) is an American singer-songwriter and actress best known for being the lead singer of the punk rock and New Wave band Blondie. She has also had success as a solo artist, and in the mid-1990s, recorded and performed with The Jazz Passengers. Her acting career spans over 30 film roles and numerous television appearances.

Lime was a synthpop group from Montreal, Canada, during the 1980s. The group was composed of husband and wife Denis and Denyse LePage, although two younger and more attractive singers, Joy Dorris and Chris Marsh, were chosen to tour and appear as the act. Later, Rob Hubertz replaced Chris Marsh. Joy Dorris and Rob Hubertz continue to perform today. They are most noted for their songs "Angel Eyes" (1983) and "Your Love" (1981 #1 US Dance). "Your Love" was featured in the 1982 movie Summer Lovers.
