The Black Eyed Peas is an American hip hop group. The group mainly comprises rappers will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and singer Fergie. Originally an alternative hip hop group, they have since added R&B, pop, and dance influences. Although the group was founded in Los Angeles in 1995, it was not until the release of their third album Elephunk in 2003 that they found widespread acclaim and achieved high record sales. Since that time, the group has sold an estimated 56 million records worldwide. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Black Eyed Peas are the second-best-selling artist or group for downloaded tracks, with over 42 million sales as of the end of 2011.

Philthy Rich has been creating a pretty big buzz for himself in the Bay lately, and his most anticipated LP Not Enough Real Niggas Left 2 which will drop sometime in June. Nelly Kim Furtado (born December 2, 1978) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actress. She has sold 20 million albums worldwide and more than 20 million singles, bringing her total sales to over 40 million records around the world. Furtado first gained fame with her debut album, Whoa, Nelly!, which spawned two successful singles, "I'm Like a Bird" and "Turn Off the Light". "I'm Like A Bird" won a 2001 Juno Award for Single of the Year and a 2002 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by the stage name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter. He released his debut album, Show and Prove, in 2006, and signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2007. His Eurodance-influenced single, "Say Yeah", received urban radio airplay, charting on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks charts in 2008.

Swollen Members is a 4-time Juno Award winning platinum-selling Canadian hip hop group from Vancouver, British Columbia, consisting mainly of the duo Mad Child and Prevail. Frequent collaborators include vocalist Moka Only (who was actually a member of the group for a short period of time in the mid-1990s when the group was formed, and then again from 2002–2005) and producer Rob the Viking, an official group member since 2002. Swollen Members has released five studio albums, one greatest hits album and 2 compilations, as well as numerous other singles.
