Jean-Marc Cerrone was one of the most influential disco producers in Europe during the 1970s and early '80s, eclipsed only by Giorgio Moroder. Born in Paris in 1952, he studied music as a child and won his first post as the orchestra leader at a Parisian club at the age of 18. After additional work with the French producer Barclay during the early '70s, he released his first solo album, Love in C-Minor, in 1976. The title track proved a massive European hit and worked its way into the American Top 40 as well. Although he only placed one more single in the U.S., Cerrone stayed popular on his native continent over the course of a career spanning a dozen albums.

The music video for 'Run' was filmed in South Africa and was directed by Jake Nava. Lewis herself described the setting of the video as "an enchanted, haunted forest. It's picking up on different elements of the song". The video starts out with Lewis alone on a dusty trail, seemingly lost. She enters a dark forest and appears to be stalked by the viewer. In the final chorus, Lewis draws in the sun and the forest literally lights up, matching the lyrics of the song. The music video premiered on Perez Hilton's blog on November 25th 2008.

The music video for 'I Will Be' began filming on December 18th 2008 in New York City and was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed the international version of 'Bleeding Love' music video. Chace Crawford from The CW's Gossip Girl stars in the video with several speaking lines. In the video, it is presumed Lewis and Crawford's character stole a large amount of money, and are being pursued by the authorities. Lewis tells Crawford she can't stay with him, and will someday meet up with him again. After leaving him she gets herself caught by the police and sacrifices herself so he can escape. She is arrested by an NYPD officer, played by Cedric Darius.
