One day, a particular painting catches Burl’s eye, one of a beautiful woman in Victorian attire. The portrait is entitled Portrait of Simone. Burl becomes obsessed with the painting and as he daydreams, he fantasizes that he can pass into Simone’s world and experience what she experiences. Reaching out for the canvas, to his amazement the canvas ripples and he is able to pass into Simone’s world. Once inside, Simone shows Burl a world that he has never known, one of vivid sexual escapades and sensuality. Burl soon discovers that when you live in a fantasy world, your sense of reality becomes distorted, often costing you more than you bargained for. The Portrait, art has never looked this good.
