Codemasters now have the rights to develop a series of Formula One games across multiple platforms and multiple years. "Formula One 2009 / F1 - The Game" is an un-official name for the first game in the series which will be released sometime during 2009. Following the acquisition of the Sega Racing Studio, there are now 350 people working on the Formula One project. Originally the game was planned for multiple platforms, but in April 2009 Codemasters announced that F1 2009 would only be available on the PSP and Nintendo Wii, and that PC and console owners would have to wait until 2010 to play F1 2010. According to Codemasters the game will be aimed at both simulation fans as well as those new to the genre and the American market.

The gameplay of Invizimals has been compared to the Pokémon series, involving players capturing and raising different species of creatures, and allowing the player to battle with them, either against an AI or with others using the PSP's wireless abilities.[2]. Unlike Pokémon however, Invizimals requires the player to hunt and capture these creatures within the real world, utilizing the concept of augmented reality, a camera attachment for the PlayStation Portable, and a physical "trap" square-shaped device used as a fiduciary marker. These monsters are spawned at different environments (types of surfaces, times of day), and the trap is used to capture the monsters. Once captured, players are able to raise and level their monsters, and allow them to learn different attacks that can be used in battle.
